Additional Shipping Charges
If the items you ordered requires a delivery to a residential address then the freight company may request additional fees to deliver to a residence. You will need to either establish an alternative commercial address that the delivery can be made or incur the additional delivery fees to have your item or items delivered to a residential address. Rub-yourmeat.com will request the additional fees and give the explanation that is provided to us by the freight company. We will provide the ability to pay the additional funds or provide an alternative address by a link emailed to you before the item ships.
Shipping Times
Orders for products are received Monday-Friday from 9 A.M. -4 P.M. central time (except near holidays). And will be processed and shipped in order that the invoice is received and fulfilled. Please call us at 918-851-3905 if you require same day shipping before placing the order. Arrangements will need to be made prior with confirmation by our office staff to guarantee same day shipping (If Available).
Delivery Times
Most all shipments to residential addresses will arrive between 10:00 A.M. -8:00 P.M. If the items are being shipped to a commercial address they will typically arrive between 10:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. Please contact is at 918-851-3905 if you require special delivery services. Additional fees may apply if the services requested require additional fees by the carriers.
Receiving your package
Someone must be available at the delivery address to receive the package from the Fed Ex, UPS or USPS driver. If no one is available, the driver will use their discretion to decide whether or not to leave the package by the door, depending on weather and security considerations. Rub-YourMeat.Com is not responsible for lost or damaged packages if you are not available to receive a package and the driver leaves the package by your door. If the package is not left at the door, the driver will leave a door tag with instructions to pick up your package at your local facility for the shipping company. The driver will make additional delivery attempts. If the package is returned because no one was available to receive the package, or you did not pick up the package at a Fed Ex, UPS or USPS facility, the package will be returned to our warehouse. In such cases, you will be responsible for the round trip shipping costs of the delivery.
Delivery Appointments
We do suggest a delivery appointment for our commercial customers if there is any doubt of an authorized recipient being available to receive your order, or if your business hours do not fall within Monday through Friday, 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. (the general time frame that carrier deliveries occur). If no one is available to sign for the delivery when the driver attempts, there will be additional charges for a re-delivery to your location. In the event that we are unable to collect the re-delivery fees before carrier storage fees are applied, the items will be returned to the shipping location. The returning freight will be processed as a standard return, which includes a restocking fee and return shipping taken from your credit. Additionally, please keep in mind that if you require a time-specific delivery appointment in which the typical 4 hour window needs to be shortened, additional fees will apply. Be sure to provide a valid phone number during checkout so that your call before delivery does not delay your shipment.
Lost Shipments
If your item is lost by the shipping carrier, we will work with the carrier to locate the shipment.
Damaged Orders
If any items have been damaged during shipping, you must make a note at the time of delivery of the damage with the employee or driver for the delivery company. Make a copy of the freight bill with the items damaged listed and initialed or signed by the driver acknowledging the damage. Send a copy to Rub-yourmeat.com by email to office@rub-yourmeat.com with 3 or more photos of the damaged product from different angles and the freight paperwork showing the damage at delivery. You have 3 days to submit this information by email or your claim is voided.
All damaged good claims photos must show not only the product but also a clear and decisive photo of the original shipping box that the item was delivered in.
Incorrect Shipments
Should you receive any items that are incorrect from the items you ordered, you must contact us by email with a description of what was received at office@rub-yourmeat.com.
All incorrect shipment claims require a digital image of the product received in the original shipping box (not just the product box). You have 3 days to submit this information by email or your claim is voided.
Types of shipping explained and additional shipping policy
For parcel shipments over 13 ounces but less than 300 pounds total weight, Rub-yourmeat.com uses UPS or USPS. Rub-yourmeat.com may use other companies if it is determined necessary by the shipping department. To explain the difference between Overnight and Standard is that Overnight is typically one day or next day shipping. Typically for any parcels over envelope size the rate is calculated at to three times the amount of standard shipping for overnight service. This amount can be five to ten times the standard shipping rates if the package is over 49 pounds, odd shaped or a distance from the terminal outside of standard shipping lanes established by the shipping company. The rates are calculated by the shipping company and estimated by Rub-yourmeat.com.
Additional shipping funds may be requested, this request will be before the item ships from Rub-yourmeat.com. Additional funds are requested if the shipping carrier deems additional funds are required. The funds will be in addition to the estimated amount of shipping at the time of the purchase. If the customer determines they wish to cancel the order based upon additional shipping funds being required. A return and restocking fee will be applied according to the terms set forth in the return policy.
There is Priority Mail which is parcels, mostly transported long distances by air, two or three day delivery- this delivery is referring to terminal to terminal and may not reflect actual delivery to you. Priority mail is typically expedited delivery to you but is not guaranteed to be faster .... Standard mail is 3rd class mail (envelope), or 4th class mail if it is a parcel (Box or large shipping envelope).
Rub-yourmeat.com is not responsible for shipping times once the package leaves our facility. All concerns of shipping times should be expressed to the shipping carrier. The package tracking number will be used for reference that you are provided with at fulfillment. Refunds will not be provided by rub-yourmeat.com if the order is time sensitive and the parcel service has taken additional time in their delivery of the package to you.
Some products are not stocked in our warehouse and are shipped to you directly from the manufacturer, or may be shipped to our warehouse first before shipping to you. In such cases, we will notify you of the expected delivery date and notify you with tracking when the item ships. If the item you order is a special order item and the item is returned or the order is cancelled for any reason a restock fee will be applied.
